History: Since 1947 when it was founded until today, STEAUA is by far the most successful Romanian football club at all levels. Highly regarded as the most representative Romania team yet, STEAUA won more domestic championships, cups and Romanain supercups than any other team in our country. At European level, STEAUA won the ultimate European competition, the equivalent of today Champions League, setting up the standard as the first Eastern Europe team to won this trophy.
